Misty Blue Colorado spruce plants

Colorado spruce 'Misty Blue' Mature height: 10–20 m; width: 6–8 m. It has a conical crown and annual growth of 30–40 cm. This moderately growing blue spruce is ornamental and easy to care for from its first growing season. It adapts well to urban conditions and also thrives outside the city. Suitable as a specimen in a flower bed or beside an entrance. Several plants can eventually form a natural hedge that remains decorative throughout the year. At 10 years, it reaches 4–5 m in height and up to 3 m in width. Prepare a deep planting hole with a 10–15 cm drainage layer at the bottom. Blue spruce does not tolerate standing water and copes better with dry conditions. During its early years, protection from strong March sun is recommended to prevent needle scorch and loss of ornamental value.
