MM-106 clonal rootstock: a foundation for productive apple orchards in Kazakhstan MM-106 is a popular apple rootstock for Kazakhstan, particularly the Almaty Region. Its vigour, resilience and compatibility with many apple varieties make it suitable for commercial orchards and private gardens. Moderate vigour produces trees 3.5–4 m tall, simplifying care, crown training and harvesting. Suitable for grafting Mantet, Rakhat Autumn, Zailiyskoye and other locally popular cultivars. It is described as tolerant of drought, frost and temperature fluctuations in a continental climate. Its branched roots aid establishment and the uptake of water and nutrients. The original text claims high resistance to Phytophthora, other soil-borne diseases and root rots. Trees Vitas offers healthy container-grown plants ready for planting throughout the season, along with plants and rootstocks for commercial and amateur orchards at favourable prices. Delivery is available in Almaty, the Almaty Region and Kazakhstan. Benefits include in-house production, quality control of each plant, adaptation to local conditions and professional advice. Before planting, dig the soil and incorporate organic fertiliser. Loose, aerated soil with a neutral reaction is preferred. Prepare a hole up to 50 cm deep and keep the graft union above ground level. Regular watering and mulching strengthen the roots and retain moisture. Preventive pest treatment and frost protection for young plants are recommended in autumn. MM-106 is a rootstock for establishing a long-lived, productive apple orchard. Trees Vitas specialists can help select plants for your site and explain planting and care.
Consider ripening time, mature tree size and compatible pollination partners. Ask about the rootstock, seedling age and care requirements before choosing a variety.

Apple tree plants Apple is one of Kazakhstan's most familiar and popular fruit trees. Apples contain vitamins, amino acids and iron. The tree is easy to care for and suitable for beginner gardeners. The catalogue includes apple trees, fruit bushes, roses and grapevines. Variety groups include standard varieties such as Sunrise, Goldpet and Champion Arno; dwarf varieties such as Zimnyaya Krasavitsa, Zolotaya Chereshenka and Medunitsa Zimnyaya; and columnar varieties such as Skorpion, Bolero and Barguzin. Dwarf trees provide ornamental interest and flavourful fruit for winter preserves. Compact columnar trees save space while maintaining production; these are mainly vigorous, productive hybrids. Planting: apples prefer light soil and dislike waterlogged or acidic sites. Dolomite flour or ash is mentioned for reducing acidity. Prepare a hole 0.5 × 0.5 m wide and deep and mix the soil with sand, peat and well-rotted organic material. Place the plant on a mound, spread the roots, cover with soil and water. Once the water has soaked in, fill the hole and firm the soil. Water every 2–3 weeks, more often during drought, combining irrigation with loosening and feeding. A complex organic-mineral fertiliser containing humate, iron, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus is recommended twice per season. Carry out sanitary pruning in spring and thinning and framework training in autumn. Please contact Trees Vitas to confirm delivery terms.
Early Slava Pobeditelyam apple plants A summer variety bred in 1928 at the L. P. Simirenko Mliyev horticultural research station from Papirovka × McIntosh by L. M. Ro and P. E. Tsekhmistrenko. Winter-hardy but unsuitable for dry steppe conditions; ripening time varies by region. The vigorous tree has a pyramidal crown that becomes rounded with age. Brown main branches rise at acute angles before spreading, with spurs and fruiting twigs developing on them. Shoots are brown and straight with small lenticels. The dense crown requires attention and thinning. Drought resistance is low, and pollinators are needed. Yield is above average but declines with age. Grows best in fertilised, moist soil and dislikes dry or clay soils. Low-lying sites can expose framework branches and spring flowers to frost; trunk and branch bark may suffer sunscald. Saucer-shaped pink flowers have red filament bases, a hairless pistil column and stigmas level with or slightly above the anthers. Buds are red. Smooth fruit usually weighs up to 120 g, occasionally 180 g. Pale green skin has crimson streaks. Cream-coloured flesh is juicy, soft, aromatic and sweet-tart. Medium-sized leaves are pale green with slight yellowing, flat, rounded or round-oval, short-pointed, slightly hairy, nearly smooth and finely wrinkled. Petioles are lightly coloured; stipules are small and lanceolate.
Suislepskoye apple: the taste of summer An early-summer variety originating in the Baltic region. Fruiting begins 4–5 years after planting. The crown is broad, rounded and sparsely branched. Medium-sized fruit is round-conical with a blush. Snow-white flesh is juicy, pleasantly wine-sweet and aromatic. Fruit ripens in early to mid-July. Its attractive crown and colourful apples make a decorative garden tree and a choice for lovers of summer apples. Order Suislepskoye from Trees Vitas and enjoy the taste of summer!

Description of an early-summer, traditionally selected Baltic apple. The original text also names Suislepskoye. A medium-sized tree with a dense spherical crown and dark, upward-growing branches. Fruit is borne on spurs, short shoots and fruiting twigs. Shoots are thick, reddish-brown and moderately hairy. Medium or large leaves are broad, almost rounded, strongly curved, dark green, glossy, slightly wrinkled, serrate-crenate and moderately hairy. Large teeth point outwards; leaves are firmly attached to short petioles. Fruit is medium to above average in size, usually flattened with a conical upper part, sometimes asymmetrical, with distinct ribs. Greenish or straw-yellow ground colour becomes glossy at maturity, with a pink blush overlaid by bright red stripes. Greenish subcutaneous dots are distinct, and skin is smooth. Stalks are medium to long and laterally flattened. The eye basin is narrow and shallow; the funnel is moderately deep, often with radiating pale brown russeting. The core is very large and broad-onion-shaped, with large open seed chambers. Seeds are medium-sized, flat and dark brown. Flesh is white, often pink beneath the skin and veined pink inside, with a sweet-tart dessert flavour. Composition: sugars 9.8%; titratable acids 0.70%; ascorbic acid 9.2 mg/100 g; P-active compounds 116.0 mg/100 g; pectins 12.2%. Ripens in the first ten days of August in the Oryol Region and keeps about two weeks. Fruiting starts after 6–8 years, with low productivity. Young trees crop annually; mature trees show slight alternate bearing. Winter hardiness is close to Pepin Shafrannyy but below Antonovka, Autumn Striped and Wealthy. Advantages are attractive fruit and dessert flavour; drawbacks are low yield, insufficient winter hardiness and poor transportability.

Golden Delicious apple plants This variety began with a chance shoot discovered in America in 1890. It later spread to many countries and became popular in commercial and amateur orchards. The original description notes more than 30 years of widespread cultivation. Young trees have conical crowns that become broad and rounded with age. Strong, dense, much-branched limbs bend and droop under the crop. Oval leaves are glossy, smooth and rich green, with distinct brownish veins, slightly wavy toothed edges and strong petioles. Bark is dark grey. Flowering is late and prolonged, with white saucer-like flowers tinted pale pink. Mature height is 3–4 m. Rootstock affects yield and disease resistance. First fruit appears in years 2–3. Cropping is annual, although a heavy crop may be followed by fewer, smaller apples. Yield depends on age and care. Fruit is usually sunny yellow. Skin is firm, dry and slightly rough, with tiny dark dots. Aromatic flesh may be white, yellowish or slightly greenish and is juicy and sweet. Ripe seeds are small, firm and brown. Mature apples remain on the branches without dropping. Harvest is in September. A pollinator is needed; Jonathan, Kuban and Delicious are suggested. Golden Delicious is widely used in breeding for its early bearing, pest resistance and dessert qualities.
